photoblog image Her best side!

Her best side!

Okay, I travel 2,5 hr to the north for this workshop Nature Photography. However the subject (read: sheep) didn't seem to want to cooperate with us. Every time my little group came closed they all turned their backs to us. At one stage our teacher even ran around the group of sheep to get them to turn but only succeeded in to scaring them off, hilarious! The aera (Friesland) was amazing and I'm definitely going back for one of their workshop.

Poor Scarlet. Did you get your money back? If not to pay attention to the furry ass, there is a splendid texture of the bone-dry grass.
Scarlet: smile thanks VZ!

heck...sheep faces are pretty boring, but this back-end is different, Scarlet.

I always helps ones appreciation of sheep if you use a little imagination...

I see a large white ceramic plate...there is a rack of lightly broiled mutton standing up in the middle; its been glazed; there is a small sea of rich brown gravy surrounding it; fresh rosemary garnish tops it, and a small mound of brilliantly green young, fresh minted peas is its companion.

Yup...that's better. Great sheep pic, Scarlet.
Scarlet: Yummy I'm getting hungry now Ray smile
Great unusual capture Scarlet.I like the side lighting here!
Scarlet: Thanks Richard. I have to say I wasn't really focussing on lighting since I was so busy trying to get a head shot of the sheep!

That does look pretty uncooperative. Maybe you should have brought sheep treats? Your description made me laugh, which I always appreciate.

Please don't do it Scarlet, ignore Chad at all cost.
His back end has such a nice shape to it. Love the grass as well.
